About the company

The fundamental milestone for the creation of the individual research and development institute were the activities of MASAM s.r.o. that began in 2014 in the field of engineering. In this period, we created and validated the role of the R&D section in our manufacturing company. Thus, we created what we are now introducing, a connection of private manufacturing sector with academic sector. MASAM R&D with TUKE SJF, STU MTF and ÚMV SAV introduce team of highly qualified employees that ensure that an assigned task will be resolved. MASAM R&D will profit from the decades of experience of individual professors in the field and the vigor of young researchers. We believe that the only chance to succeed is to join the best experts in the field. This is true not only for MASAM but for the academic sector and the whole Slovakia. The company MASAM will invest about 5% of the annual turnover into MASAM R&D for the continuous product development. The main goal is the development of our products, especially special cutting tools at the highest level.

The company will also actively participate in research projects from the structural and investment funds of the European Union, where until today MASAM has already realized four research and development projects.
