MASAM continues to expand its technological and research infrastructure. A new MASAM remote workplace has been established at the Faculty of Materials Science and Technology STU in Trnava, focused on advanced metrology and surface analysis.

The workplace is equipped with modern measuring technology enabling detailed analysis of tool geometry, surface quality, and other key parameters important for the development and optimization of machining processes. This creates new opportunities for research, testing, and the practical application of knowledge in industrial practice.

The establishment of this workplace is the result of long-term cooperation between MASAM and the Faculty of Materials Science and Technology STU, aimed at strengthening the connection between academia and industry. Such collaboration creates space for knowledge transfer, joint research projects, and the support of innovation in the field of modern machining technologies.

The new workplace will also serve as a platform for involving students in practical projects and research activities, contributing to the development of future professionals in mechanical engineering and manufacturing technologies.

Through initiatives like this, MASAM continues to systematically develop its research and development activities while building partnerships that strengthen the link between research and industrial practice.
