DYNAMIC TOROID CUTTERS
Cutters with six cutting edges, three of which cut through the center, are designed with a variable-helix geometry and a stronger core. Chip splitters are located along the tool periphery, contributing to efficient chip evacuation and stability during machining.
These tools are an ideal choice for high-productivity milling methods (High Productivity Machining), especially when using dynamic, adaptive, or trochoidal machining strategies. The end mills are optimized for large depths of cut and allow the maximum amount of material to be removed in a short time while maintaining a consistent load.
The standard version includes a plain cylindrical shank in accordance with DIN 6535 HA. Upon request, a version with a Weldon flat or with reduced shank can also be supplied.
Recommended applications include steel, stainless materials up to 50 HRC, and materials with tensile strength up to 1200 N/mm². The end mill is also suitable for cast steel and heat-resistant alloys. The tool geometry is λ 30°/31° and γ 10°, ensuring optimal cutting efficiency.
For a wider range of machinable materials, two coating variants are available.
