ECOLINE END MILLS

MASAM solid carbide end mills are universal tools designed for a wide range of machining operations. The product range includes versions with 2, 3, and 4 cutting edges, with each variant optimized for different types of operations – from roughing to precise finishing and slot milling.

The end mills are designed with a 30° helix, λ 30° geometry, and γ 8°, and are supplied as standard with a DIN 6535 HA plain shank. For greater clamping flexibility, a Weldon flat version is also available. The tools are also equipped with neck relief, which reduces friction and enables machining at greater depths.

The 3-flute variant marked 3P9 is specifically intended for precision slot milling, such as keyway milling. An overview of the available dimensions and versions is provided in the technical parameter table.

Selected tools are also available in an extended version marked with the letter L, intended for machining in hard-to-reach areas or where greater tool reach is required.

The 2-flute center-cutting variant is especially suitable for universal operations and efficient milling, while the 3-flute version (with one flute cutting through the center) is also optimized for keyway milling. The 4-flute end mills with two flutes cutting through the center provide higher stability and are suitable for operations requiring higher productivity and superior surface finish.

These tools are primarily intended for machining steel, cast iron, and stainless steel up to 55 HRC (up to 1600 N/mm²), while also being suitable for aluminum and copper. The tool surface is coated with an AlTiN PVD coating, which increases wear resistance and extends tool life even under demanding machining conditions.
