5- or 6-flute end mills, with two flutes extending to the center, are designed for efficient roughing as well as finishing operations. Thanks to their stronger core and chip splitters along the tool circumference, they ensure stable performance even at higher cutting engagements.

The integrated chip breakers reduce machine load and make it possible to achieve higher material removal rates without compromising quality. The ground cutting edge ensures precise and clean machining even in more demanding applications. As standard, the end mill is equipped with a plain shank in accordance with DIN 6535 HA. A version with a Weldon flat or reduced neck is also available on request. Recommended applications include steel, cast iron, and stainless steel materials up to 55 HRC and tensile strength up to 1600 N/mm². The tool geometry is λ 42° and γ 5°, which contributes to machining stability. For a wider range of machinable materials, two coating variants are available.
