UNIVERSAL SPOT DRILLS

Universal spot drills are an ideal choice prior to the main drilling operation. They feature a two-flute design and a helical geometry with a 30° helix angle, ensuring smooth tool guidance and accurate entry into the material.

As standard, they are equipped with a plain shank according to DIN 6535 HA. Upon request, they are also available with a Weldon flat, which increases clamping stability under more demanding conditions.

These spot drills are recommended for machining steel, cast iron, and stainless steel up to 55 HRC and with tensile strength up to 1600 N/mm². Thanks to their universal geometry, they are also well suited for machining copper and aluminium.
