CYLINDRICAL FINISHING MILLS

Cylindrical cutters are designed for precise finishing operations in a wide range of materials. They are characterized by a high number of efective cutting edges (6-10), with at least two efective cutting edges intervening in the middle. Thanks to an optimized helix up to 45° and a rectified cutting edge, they ensure high surface quality and stable performance even at higher speeds.

As standard, the cutters are equipped with a smooth clamping shank according to the DIN 6535 HA standard, while on request we also offer a version with a Weldon clamping surface and the option to relieve the shank. The geometry of the tool λ 45° and γ 7° enables their flexible deployment according to the specific machining process.

These tools are recommended for machining steel, cast iron, stainless steel materials and, in the case of some versions, also aluminum. Cutters can be supplied with high-quality coatings that ensure long life and resistance to wear.

We also offer specialized versions of these cutters intended for machining hard and hardened materials up to 65 HRC. These tools are equipped with 4 to 12 cutting edges, have a variable helix (30° – 45°), are resistant to vibration and come standard with a Weldon clamping surface. Tool geometry λ 30°-45° and γ 0°. The surface treatment increases their performance during demanding machining of hardened steels, cast iron and heat-resistant alloys.
