ALU END MILLS

ALU carbide cylindrical mills are specially designed for machining aluminum, its alloys, copper and plastics. Thanks to their three-blade design (with one cutting edge in the middle) and multi-spiral geometry (helix λ 37°/39°/41° and γ 15°), they ensure a stable grip, high precision and a smooth surface after machining.

The mills have a polished surface that reduces chip adhesion and increases efficiency during high-speed milling. The geometry is optimized for smooth material removal and at the same time for minimal vibrations. Some mills are also equipped with chip dividers, which reduce the load on the machine and prevent clogging of the tool during roughing. Milling cutters are suitable for machining materials with a hardness of up to 55 HRC.

As standard, they are supplied with a smooth clamping shank according to the DIN 6535 HA standard, variants with a Weldon clamping surface and the possibility of reducing the weight of the shank are also available on request.

To increase the service life of the tool and extend its usability, two design variants are available – without coating or in a premium version with DLC coating.
