During the Ceremonial Academy marking the 40th anniversary of the Faculty of Materials Science and Technology of the Slovak University of Technology in Trnava (MTF STU), an award was also presented to Milan Mandák, CEO of MASAM. Through this recognition, the faculty acknowledged the long-term cooperation, support of technical education, and active efforts to bridge the gap between academia and industrial practice.

At MASAM, we have always considered cooperation with universities to be a natural part of our development. We believe that the future of Slovak industry is built where expertise, research, innovation, and real industrial experience come together.

Over the years, MASAM and MTF STU have been connected through numerous professional activities, research projects, conferences, and initiatives aimed at supporting young talents and bringing innovative solutions into industrial practice. An important milestone in this partnership was the signing of a framework cooperation agreement between STU, MASAM, and MASAM R&D, opening up new opportunities for joint development in the fields of education, research, and innovation.

“I perceive this award primarily as a recognition of the long-standing partnership between MASAM and MTF STU. I am convinced that connecting education, research, and industry is essential for the future of Slovak engineering. I greatly appreciate the trust the faculty has placed in us and I look forward to further joint projects and challenges,” said Milan Mandák, CEO of MASAM.

For us, this award confirms that cooperation between academia and industry truly matters. At the same time, it motivates us to continue supporting initiatives that contribute to technical education, innovation, and the development of future generations of professionals.

We warmly congratulate the Faculty of Materials Science and Technology of STU in Trnava on this important anniversary and thank them for the cooperation and partnership we have built together. We look forward to future projects that will contribute to the advancement of technical education, research, and innovation in Slovakia.
