CYLINDRICAL ROUGHING END MILLS

Four-flute roughing and roughing-finishing square end mills, with two flutes cutting through the center. Both versions feature an NR profile, a 40° helix angle, unequal tooth spacing, and precision-ground cutting edges, ensuring stable engagement and efficient chip evacuation. They are supplied as standard with a plain shank according to DIN 6535 HA; upon request, versions with a Weldon flat, reduced shank, or internal coolant are also available. The end mills are suitable for machining steel, cast iron, and stainless materials with hardness below 55 HRC and tensile strength below 1600 N/mm².

The version intended exclusively for roughing features γ 7° geometry and an AlCrN coating, ensuring long tool life and reliability under high loads. The combined roughing-finishing version offers higher performance—approximately 30% higher Vc and fz values compared to the PKVH series—while also leaving a cleaner workpiece surface. Its geometry is modified to γ 8° and it uses an AlTiN coating, which supports higher productivity and improved surface quality.
